Abstract
The aim of this manuscript is to present the professional and academic career and contributions of Dr. Luciane Stallivieri to the internationalization of higher education. With more than twenty years dedicated to international education, her specificities include international cooperation and internationalization based on knowledge management. Her studies have resulted in the development of a conceptual framework of basic paradigms for responsible internationalization. He also gives lectures and webinars in more than thirty countries, including: United States, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Cuba, Colombia and China. In this interview with the researchers from the University Studies Group (GEU/Unemat/UFMT), Egeslaine de Nez and Franciane Maria Araldi, the professor reflects on her journey as a researcher, her work in basic and higher education and her participation in research groups. The importance of internationalization and its main challenges today are the focus of a session of in-depth reflections. The interview is part of a research project entitled "Internationalization of Higher Education in emerging contexts: discoveries and reflections" coordinated by the Faculty of Education (FACED) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and bringing together seven Brazilian institutions and a university in Mexico. Its aim is to map practice strategies for students, teachers, courses and higher education institutions in emerging contexts, specifically with regard to internationalization activities. Its scientific relevance lies in the possibility of consolidating national and international research groups and networks through the socialization of knowledge.
