Abstract
Our aims is to distinguish Pragmatics and Discourse Analysis of French School by taking into account the role of context and ideology. This paper emphasises the differences introduced by concepts as subject, language and interpretation in both theories. We concluded by the importance of discourse´s definition as a sign of the difference between Pragmatics and Discourse Analysis.References
