Abstract
This article has as its theme the dialogue between the pedagogies of professors Sanford Meisner and Keith Johnstone. It is intended to demonstrate how the concept and application of Meisner’s repetition can be a means of promoting Johnstone’s spontaneity. This proposal is based on the works On Acting, by Meisner, and Impro - Improvisation and the Theatre, by Johnstone, as well as other bibliographic sources that will serve as support.
