Abstract

This experience report is a pedagogical work in physical education classes during the
first half of 2014, the state school Ida Yolanda Lanzoni de Barros, located in the city of
Sorocaba-SP, with students from 5th years of primary education, anchored in some
assumptions of multicultural perspective of physical education, such as mapping, asset
valuation of body culture and the experience of students, problematization, widening,
deepening and reframing of knowledge regarding body practice studied. In trodden
paths during classes, various resources and teaching and pedagogical strategies were
used, such as records on notebooks, research, presentations, interviews, contextualizing,
organizing experiences of football games and tour videos, which contributed to the
students' understanding of some historical aspects of the World Cup soccer; expansion
and deepening of knowledge of children regarding some social problems resulting from
the completion of this mega sports event held in Brazil and the organization and
experience of football games in the classroom, creating ways to reframe the body
practice the context of class.
