Resumen
El objetivo del estudio fue analisar la relación de ventaja de jugar de local y el efecto del primer gol en los
resultados finales de las partidas del campeonato brasileiro de futebol de primera división de los años 2011 a
2014. Se totalizaron 1520 juegos. Los analisis se realizaron con base en el test de chi-cuadrado de asociación.
El nivel de significancia adoptado fue de p<0,05. Los resultados indican que se presentó asociación
significativa tanto entre la marcación del primeir gol y la obtención de victórias cuando entre el fator local y
el resultado positivo en las partidas de futebolen todos los años analisados. Se discutió que las variables
factor local y convertir el primer gol en la partida influencian positivamente en los resultados finales de los
juegos del campeonato brasileiro. Por lo tanto, entrenadores y profesionales del área pueden establecer
estrategias para optimizar el uso de esas variables durante una temporada competitiva.
