Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The contribution is original and is not being evaluated for publication in another journal; otherwise it must be justified in "Comments to the editor".
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word format, according to the journal's template.
- All webpages addresses (URLs) included in the text are active a ready to click.
- The paper includes the title and abstract in Portuguese and English, the abstract has a minimum of 200 and a maximum of 250 words, and keywords (three to five words). The entire paper has 5000 to 8000 words, including the entire body of the text and tables, footnotes and references (in case of review papers the references should be excluded from the count). The body of the paper clearly describes the research objectives, methods, and procedures, the results obtained, and the theoretical contributions.
- In case of submission to a section with double review process (academic papers and young researchers), the instructions available in 'Double Blind Review' were followed. The author identification of the work was removed (from the submitted file and from the option 'word properties'), in order to guarantee the confidentiality criteria of the journal and of the review process.
- The authors are responsible for the information, pictures and data presented on the submitted work.
- All figures, tables and charts have declared source.
- Existing financial support for the research (public or private agencies), they were informed.
- Article-processing charges: The article submission and evaluation process is free of charge. If the article is accepted for publication, the authors will be responsible for the costs of writing revision (spelling and grammar) and ABNT standardization, to be paid directly to the professional indicated by the journal.

Original texts of a scientific study encompassing research products completed or under development in the theme of the journal.
Dossier
This section includes scientific articles submitted in thematic calls.
Review paper
For this section, it is expected the submission of articles from Systematic Reviews of Literature (SLR). The systematic term means that the review shall be conducted in accordance with a method designed to ensure that the review shall be impartial, accurate, auditable, replicable and updatable.
Communications
This section is intended for works presented in scientific events as extended abstract or short paper but has not yet been fully published.

I accept that PARC Research in Architecture and Building Construction journal perform, on the original file approved for publication, revisions and modifications in orthoghaphic, grammar and standard issues.
