Abstract

What are the transfeminist features of the theatrical scene? How does the theater's inscription as a creative field act in epistemic trafficking operations? From the power of the genre to the padê of the genre, the curatorial circuits of frontier theatricalities break down around the dust of the genre, not post-gender processes. This text unveils aspects of the dangerousness of difference in order to denounce the cisgender pimping around the theatrical artistic production of transgender people. Thus, the tutelage expedients are colored by the clash of genetics (gender ethics) in the sense of gaining spells of knowledge production. This path is the first step towards demonstrating how the theater detects at least three layers of the epistemic appropriation of transvestigenrities in the cynical arts: 1) sexual fetish; 2) academic fetish; and 3) social fetish.
