Fenomenologia O Método

Resumo

As características do método filosófico distinguem-no do científico, do didático e de outros. A visão que o filósofo tem da realidade mostra a ele como deve abordá-la. Exemplifica-se com o positivismo e o marxismo. Para o fenomenólogo, o mundo, enquanto tal, humano ou não, tem uma estrutura que consiste em mostrar-se e ocultar-se, dois componentes simultâneos dessa estrutura. Se há algo sempre e sempre oculto em tudo o que se mostra, estamos conseqüentemente obrigados a decifrar esse claro-escuro, desocultar o escondido, revelar o velado. Há então e sempre um sentido direto e um indireto, este último só podendo ser apreendido através do primeiro. É precisamente essa estrutura que nos permite garantir que a interpretação, ou hermenêutica, é o método fenomenológico.

Abstract:

The characteristics of the philosophical method distinguish it from the scientific one, the didactic one and others. A philosopher’s perception of reality shows him/her how it must be approached, and this can observed in positivism and marxism. For a phenomenologist, the world, as it is, either human or not, has a structure that consists in revealing and hiding, which are two simultaneous components of this structure. If there is always something hidden in everything that is shown, we are consequently obliged to decipher this clear-dark set, to show what is hidden, to disclose what it is veiled. So, there is always a direct and an indirect sense, and the latter can only be understood through the first. It is this very structure that allows us to guarantee that the interpretation, or hermeneutics, is the phenomenologic method.
