Abstract

The result of a winter course at Tallinn University, the work Individuality in an age of uncertainty presents a fruitful dialogue, organized in six chapters, between Zygmunt Bauman, a Polish sociologist and philosopher, professor emeritus at the University of Warsaw, considered one of the great thinkers of modernity, and Rein Raud, a doctor of literary theory, a poet and a fiction writer who, born in Estonia, teaches Japanese studies at the University of Helsinki.
