Abstract

The objective of this research is evaluate the real possibilities and impacts of Graduation National Test (ENADE) in the way of reevaluation around university teacher formation and academic performance. The research was done across qualitative approach, in the form of case report, because it is the specificity of the centrality of the actions and the meanings that the one’s bring in the university world in relation to the external evaluation. Thus, the instruments were the semi-structured interview, the free questions and consultations of
Enade’s published records, that were the legal data, found in official sites of National Institute of Studies and Educational Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP) for the survey of results from 2004 to 2014. The research instruments were applied to coordinators, teachers and academics from three graduation institutions in Lages: Facvest University Center/FACVEST, State University of Santa Catarina/UDESC-CAV and University of Planalto Catarinense/UNIPLAC. The relevance of this research is based in the dimension of the proportions that
de national evaluation had in the university world, concerning analysis of results reported by the Ministry of Education/INEP, as well as for the prominence that it has on university teacher training. The results of this research showed a little relation between the real impacts of teachers formation and the academic performance in Enade, as an evaluation of national scope.
