Abstract

A red star brings a historical-biographical study of Nadezhda Krupskaia, an education activist who served in the Russian revolutionary process alongside Lenin. The author discusses several topics in the book. The strength of a woman who devoted herself to a life of militancy and lived years in exile for her publications that instructed the Russian working class to fight the exploitation and oppression of capitalism. The connection with the workers, the work in periodicals, the activism for a collectivist and solidarity society from the Marxist perspective. Thought linked to equal rights, for both sexes, independent of social class in all spheres of society. A socialist proposal for the integral development of the human being, based on emancipatory education as a key element of transformation of the world.
