Abstract
The exhibition Brazilian avant-garde of the 1960s, at the Pinacoteca de São Paulo, presents an overview of the new Brazilian figuration, mainly through the Roger Wright collection, in a long term loan to the institution. This paper aims to present the exhibition, evidencing some possible readings of the artworks, their relations and contexts.
