Abstract

The research MODES OF INHABITING: the praxis of drawing in contemporary art (2009/current) aims to investigate space/narrative/memory/creation process through drawing/painting/installation/notebooks and artist books. It prioritizes the study of drawing in the history of contemporary art, mainly focused on the artists' creation processes, concepts and poetics. This reasearch took part of a Group of Studies, named Exposition Strategies in Drawing in Contemporary Art (2014/2019). So far, four solo exhibitions and one group show have resulted from this research. For this article, I'll focus on two of the solo exhibitions held so far, the installations Habitar o Espaço (2011) and Habitar o(utro) Espaço (2012).
