Abstract
The present article is a study of the archive of the artist, researcher and editor Pere Sousa and is dedicated to describing and specifically punctuating the editorial production of the artist himself, material that makes up a significant part of his personal archive today. The personal archives of artists are fundamental documents for the understanding of art history, so that Sousa's editorial production contributes both to the writing and the recording of the history of mail art and experimental poetry, internationally, but especially in Spain. The material studied are the self-published publications under the label Factoría Merz Mail: serial and periodical publications such as the zines P.O.BOX, 598 and MM! and other publications such as books, pamphlets, artist books, discs. The research was based on interviews conducted by the author with Pere Sousa in 2023 and on the study and handling of his personal archive kept at his residence in Barcelona.
