Abstract
This article presents the research work, collective and interdisciplinary curatorship of the Bio exhibition held in 2023 at the Museum of Popular Culture Art (MACP), located within the campus of the Federal University of the State of Mato Grosso (UFMT) in Cuiabá. Following the perspective of curator Lisette Lagnado (2018), curating is a multiple activity, forming a discourse and relevant in negotiations with institutions. Walking this line, we propose the following reflections regarding the work with the museum's collection: the production of an exhibition in a university museum institution, outside a hegemonic center, the contact with the MACP's institutional collection with a focus on the production of women artists and the creation of a methodology for the exhibition articulating the triggering concept, thematic axes and the occupations carried out throughout the exhibition.
