Abstract
Art mail is an important networked artistic movement that has promoted international dialogues since the 1960s and 1970s around political artivism and the insertion of outsider artistic production in non-artistic systems. This article aims to reflect on the processes and trajectories of the modernist artistic vanguards through Mail Art that culminated in Conceptual Art and Artist Archives, from the study of the formation of an artist archive dedicated to Mail Art, the Embaixada do Brasil project of Postal Art, proposed by the collectives Ecatú Ateliê and Coletivo 308. As a result, we analyze the ten years of performance of this artistic proposal, bringing stories, reports and numbers referring to the propositions developed, with calls and exhibitions.
