How to Cite
Abstract
This paper describes how the disinfection was carried out, by anoxia atmosphere, in the collections of books and periodicals. The goal is to report how the treatment was carried out in the infested collections. The disinfection proved to be eficiente and effective, resulting in the valuation of heritage’s preservation of the Library Division and Documentation of Chemistry Unit of São Paulo University, and creating an awareness of the importance of adopting preventive and corrective measures.
