Abstract
Based on research on the presence of Paulo Freire in the production of Brazilian Postgraduate Studies, this article aims to highlight the anthropological-philosophical categories that underlie the author's concept of Education and are revealed in these productions. These concepts are directly present (keywords) in 233 dissertations and 138 theses located in 32 universities where the theses that researched about this author were defended. The results reveal that the philosophical categories of "being in the world", "being with others", "being inconclusive" and anthropological categories of "concrete reality", "dialogue" and "freedom / liberation" have direct relations with the problem of human rights . These categories provide the conceptual basis for understanding education as a human right.
