Reflections from the concept of work in Marx: the formation of historical man or history in human formation?

Abstract

This text objective to reflect on human formation based on the form of cooperation work, described in chapter XI, of Marx's work Capital (2016), emphasizing the concept of historical man captured in the theses On the concept of Walter Benjamin Story (1987). To this end, this investigation is characterized as bibliographic and documentary research, based on content analysis. In the aspect of human formation, the presence of two projects for the man of cooperation and his alleged equality is made clear. The contradictions presented throughout the text about the relationship between these types of men present in the productive process of cooperation suggest, in this period, few elements for the constitution of a historical man, a “man of now” idealized by Benjamin (1987).
