Resumo
The purpose of this article is to describe two instructive events at the university: preparatory discussion among students and explanation in the classroom. The participants in both types of events have the intention of giving information which they have learned while reading about an academic topic. This fact leads to communication which shows traces of both literacy and orality. The description mentioned above highlights the relationship between the process of speech production and the framework of participation, clearly showing their implications for the interactive process of the two instructive events here analysed.O periódico Trabalhos em Linguística Aplicada utiliza a licença do Creative Commons (CC), preservando assim, a integridade dos artigos em ambiente de acesso aberto, em que:
