Resumo

Aby Warburg hizo su famosa lecture en Roma (1912) sobre los frescos astrológicos del Palazzo Schifanoia y, así, se ubicó entre los primeros en estudiar un problema hasta entonces marginal entre los historiadores. La institucionalización de los estudios históricos sobre este tema concreto, en el marco del Warburg Institute y el boom de la tesis Yates, nos han traído hasta aquí. Sobre esa huella pionera iniciada hace un siglo, en las últimas dos décadas los scholars despliegan sus investigaciones nucleados en flamantes redes y en un marco de interpretación postyatesiano, basados en la construcción académica del esoterismo occidental de Antoine Faivre.
