Abstract

The article seeks to interpret the exhibition Levantes, organized by the French philosopher and art theorist Georges Didi-Huberman in 2016. It starts discussing the influence of the German philosopher Walter Benjamin for his thinking. It aims to understand through the analysis of some works exposed how it is possible to rethink the relations between art and politics today as an activity of montage, rememoration and displacement.
