Abstract

This paper discusses the montage in a reflective and historical perspective. It aims to analyze the experiences with the exhibition space. It also approaches the history of montages, which may play a small role in the history of exhibitions, but still constitute a vast field to be analyzed and revealed. At last, this article remembers some notable exhibitions that introduced the montage as a resource as well as some of the author's experiences as a spectator and an artist.
