Abstract
This text aims to reflect in a panoramic and introductory way on the constitution of biennials and other alternatives that are elaborated within the logic of biennialization. As an unavoidable context there is a need to consider the current moment with the Covid-19 epidemic and its physical restrictions. To present it, offers a possible narrative about the histories of exhibitions from the perspective of the biennials that incorporate a debate related to the decolonial turn.
