Resumen

Este texto presenta el pensamiento sobre el arte y la ecología aprendidas a través del estudio de obras originadas en el noreste rural de Brasil en la década de 1980, que luego se presentaron en bienales a fines de esa década. Si bien se basa en los escritos de Walter Benjamin, Denise Ferreira da Silva, Carolyn Merchant y Anna Tsing, centra los conjuntos escultóricos de Projeto Terra situados en el sertão bahiano de Juraci Dórea. Reelaborando las convenciones académicas, experimenta con la historiografía del arte y ofrece algunas heurísticas emergentes.
