Abstract

The History of Sciences article and scientific written from fieldwork collected data, associated with painting and photography arts, can smooth knowledge learning, that often presents itself arid for students. This article adressed four geomorphological formations that were field observed by geologist John Casper Branner in Brazil visitations during 19th and early 20th centuries and his geological phenomena interpretations that  give rise to them. Such geomorfological formations resulted in phytogeographic landscapes that were also recorded in the fist half of 19th century by the naturalist Martius, with drawners and painters aid, once was in the second half of this century that photographers begans to use photograph equipment that were in full development. These naturalistics art works data was converted into  didatic suggestions for Science and Earth Science teachers.
