Abstract
The dissemination of Geosciences is fundamental for the sustainable exploration of the planet since it enables an understanding about the transformation of natural spaces and the interaction of society with the environment. One way to disseminate this knowledge is by means of university extension, which aims to articulate teaching and scientific research to the needs of the community of which the university is a part, seeking to positively transform the social reality from this exchange. The objective of this work is to publicize the extension actions, with emphasis on the dissemination of Geosciences, carried out by the Federal University of Espírito Santo, showing its importance both for students of university education and for the community.
