Abstract
Solidarity Assimilation: Analysis of an Educational intervention in Calculus Course. The present article is an extract of a thesis submitted for earning of the doctorate degree in Mathematics Education. It covers aspects and areas, which, due to their innovative and polemical character, have often been neglected. It concentrates on the higher learning, level, a niche apparently considered taboo. The empirical part of this research was conducted at the University of the State of São Paulo (Unesp), Bauru campus, in Calculus Course for future teachers of Mathematics. The study also shows the “teacher-researcher in Mathematics Education”, her professional preparation, as well as her reflexions as she takes her own classroom as the theme of investigation. This occurs as she tries to implement an alternative pedagogical proposal called Solidarity Assimilation.
