Abstract
This paper aims at analysing the constitution of landscapes of
investigation (SKOVSMOSE, 2000) at an episode. The episode occurred in a
computer laboratory, during a mathematics lesson. The research follows a qualitative approach in which participant observation is the main procedure.
Our focus is on communicational aspects of students and researchers´
interaction, which generated such landscapes or hampered their constitution.
Three main issues emerge from our results: the ephemeralness of the landscapes
of investigation, the relationship between human beings, media and knowledge;
and the reasons that led us to reflect the episode as our research focus.
