Interculturality and immigration: impacts and challenges to education

Abstract

This dossier is the result of experiences, studies and reflections shared at the II International Colloquium Educación y Interculturalidad, promoted by the Faculty of Education of the University of Salamanca (USAL/Spain), in April 2019, with the theme Interculturalidad and Inmigración: impacts and challenges in education. In order to contribute to the debate about the challenges that contemporary migratory processes present to the educational field, the objective of this dossier is to problematize, reflect and signal contributions to contemporary philosophical-educational thinking, in order to expand the capacity to analyze the socio-educational reality, recognizing the complexity of the challenges and, at the same time, the training and cultural re-learning possibilities that migration and cultural diversity provide.
