Resumen

Los resultados positivos demostrados por varias investigaciones sobre el uso de nuevas tecnologías de la información en la educación muestran nuevas formas de atraer e involucrar a los estudiantes en el proceso educativo. Una de estas tecnologías, llamada Serious Games, propone el uso de juegos digitales más allá del entretenimiento del jugador, como la educación, el marketing y la política. Esta investigación describe el desarrollo de un juego serio dirigido al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de normas, procedimientos y términos técnicos sobre sistemas fotovoltaicos. El juego Phototype se desarrolló con el apoyo de metodologías destinadas a juegos educativos, como el Marco heurístico y la Mecánica de aprendizaje - Mecánica del juego, y se evaluó mediante un cuestionario e instrumentos técnicos que observaron la percepción de los estudiantes en un curso de educación superior en relación con mecánica de juegos y aprendizaje de juegos digitales. Los resultados de la investigación identificaron una experiencia positiva por parte de los estudiantes en el uso del juego Phototype, lo que sugiere su importancia como herramienta educativa y para apoyar la enseñanza-aprendizaje, complementando los resultados de investigaciones anteriores.
