Abstract
This text deals with the concept of the “Círculo de Cultura” (Circle of Culture), brought by Freire, as a critical, creative to a liberating education and protagonist of the relationship between decoloniality. Theoretical research was carried out to know part of Freire's thought and some elements of decoloniality. Freire (2000a, 2000b, 1999, 1996a, 1996b, 1985a, 1985b, 1970), Dussel (1993) Mignolo (2017), Quijano (2000) and Walsh (2012, 2005) allow a greater proximity to the proposed theme. The objective of the study is to understand the possible relationships between Freire's thought and decoloniality in the critical, creative, and liberating training of students through the Culture Circle. The study points to the role of the Culture Circle in the relationship between decoloniality and Freire's thought based on dialogic pedagogy, in reflective and liberating practice. Through them it is possible to mobilize an insurgent process for an education based on the promotion of criticality, creativity, and freedom.
