Resumo

Esta entrevista busca contribuir para a divulgação da Estilística em território brasileiro e fomentar o interesse em pesquisas que busquem a integração das perspectivas linguística, literária e pedagógica. É nesse espírito que Sonia Zyngier compartilha um pouco de sua jornada pessoal e acadêmica nas trilhas da Estilística e do ensino de literatura. Esse percurso a levou a estabelecer parcerias internacionais e a participar em associações científicas, entre elas, na Poetics and Linguistics Association (Associação de Poética e Linguística). Até hoje, pesquisa, publica e edita obras que em muito contribuem para o entendimento de questões variadas em torno do estilo na linguagem e suas relações multifuncionais com inúmeros fenômenos humanos e sociais, incluindo cognição, emoção, ensino e aprendizagem de língua e literatura, gênero, meio-ambiente, para mencionar apenas algumas. Assim, esta entrevista evidencia a atuação da Estilística em diversas áreas, o que contribui significativamente para a Linguística Aplicada.
